Kona Ice fulfills $5000 pledge

In May Kona Ice of Montgomery County owner Sandy Shephard pledged $5000 to the Montgomery Parks Foundation. Sandy, an avid skier and outdoor enthusiast said, “Parks are an important part of our community and I want to give back”. In September, his pledge was fulfilled!

Kona Ice is a mobile shaved ice truck---- get your ice and move to the flavor wave where you’ll find 10 flavors “on tap” to enjoy. The Kona Ice truck is parked in Wheaton Regional Park each weekend spring to fall.
